About

DSCN0313

I am a happily married mother of three wonderful children and I am absolutely devoted to Jesus Christ, my wonderful Savior. It is my greatest hope to help spread Christ’s love to others by providing encouragement, inspiration, and sharing the things He is teaching me, in my personal and more importantly, my spiritual life. Most importantly, I pray that if you haven’t already, you will accept the gift of salvation offered to us by Jesus, as He “is the Way, the Truth, and the Life”, John 3:16.

I enjoy writing and have prayed for several years now that the Lord would enable me to use it as an avenue through which to glorify Him. I realized that in order to be able to do so, I would have to allow HIM to guide and lead me as to what He would have me share with others. I had to stop looking at it as “my writing” and instead, look upon it as a way to simply convey what the Lord is doing in my own life and how He is making scripture come alive for me! This took surrender on my part, which continues to be an ongoing process in my spiritual growth.

For me, writing is a form of worship, and one that I pray will inspire you to seek a relationship with Jesus, or deepen one that you already have with Him.

I dedicate all of these writings to my one and only Savior, Jesus Christ, and I pray that you are blessed by them. Please seek His voice and calling upon your life and be inspired to spread the good news of salvation to others in our world.

And remember: Jesus loves you!

23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men Colossians 3:23 NKJV

May God bless you and keep you….and make His face shine upon you…and give you peace.

  1. Thanks for stopping by ‘Water for the Soul’….your blog looks interesting, I hope to visit again and invite you to do the same …

      • Thank you for stopping by my very new blog and liking it! I am still learning about WordPress and I hope to have a beautiful blog in time, as I learn, and get my techie husband to help me. I love your blog and God Bless you for glorifying God

    • It was awesome! I think you did a nice job of being fair and objective – presenting all ways to view it – the good, the not so good – and then giving your opinion. Helpful for sure! As always, intentions and motivations are important, but what is most important is our relationship directly with God. Fellowship should be an extension of that only. Nice!

  2. Thank you so much for reading my blog and seeing the stuff I post 🙂

Most of the time, I just write down the stuff I’ve been thinking about, and my main intention with my blog is to write about some of my experiences, and that hopefully it blesses or encourages someone.

    Thanks Annie 🙂

    • Oh, it does! Keep on sharing your experiences, feelings, learnings. As we do so, always remembering Him and how awesome, loving and faithful He is, we can do nothing but be a blessing to others. For His glory! Thank you for always encouraging me and for all that you are doing to be a vessel for Christ. It MATTERS. Never stop.

  3. Annie B… as you said in a comment to me, we are kindred spirits. I understand exactly where you’re coming from. Letting go of “my” writing… for Him… it’s a process. And it’s through the process that I am coming to know God in a way I never before believed possible. May God bless you fully and abundantly. I have much love for you and your writing. It’s so encouraging!

    • Aaah, isn’t He wonderful, glorious, and magnificent? I am so glad to hear you are being blessed in this journey too. I thank you – I can feel the love, girl, and so very encouraged. I shall continue to bask in your writing as well as we proclaim His mighty name to all who will hear~!

  5. Thanks for taking the time to like my blog post. I’m hoping that it can get passed around so that others will know a little more about the Bible that they hold in their hands… the closer we get to God through His Word the more we understand how best to serve Him more. Thanks again.

  13. What an AWESOME blog!!! You have truly touched my heart. May God be glorified in and thru you forever. God has blessed me thru some wonderfully edifying blogs. He knows what he is doing!

  14. Please pray for marriage restoration. I am separated from my wife. I ‘feel’ numb, angry, betrayed , devastated and tricked. I KNOW love is MORE THAN feelings and that LOVE is action AND choice and that my expression of love reflects my expression of how I love God. I know God hates divorce but I almost ‘feel’ like giving up =(.
