Are you feeling rushed, pushed, frightened, or confused? This not of God.
God offers the peace that passes all understanding. God is the still small voice. Jesus calmed the winds and the waves. The Holy Spirit is the Comforter. Go to God who has promised all these things to those who believe. Trust Him to do all that He has said He would. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

This post reminded me that only when we slow down and seek after God’s voice will we find him. This fact is crucial, as I mostly rush through my day, not allowing God to really poor into me, and therefore not letting his will abide in my life. I think I’m not alone in saying this, either. As Americans we are pampered and seemingly we put God in a category labels “if I have enough time”. This is not what God’s word tells us to do, and by putting God second to other things in life we are limiting ourselves to the intimacy we could have in our relationship with God. Without this intimacy, we can not fully feel God’s overwhelming peace. So slow down, listen for God’s voice, read his word, and feel his perfect peace.
